This Bulb is great for replacing your standard 12V Halogen spotlight. Be aware that this product is suppossed to have quality Bridgelux LED's and not epistar or other alternative LED's (blue hue is indication that the LED's are not Bridgelux). The LED Bulb will direct light more accurate instead of spreading the light in any direction and the light seems amazing clean and deliberate compared to halogen or other traditional type bulb. It will last five times longer and are shock resistant. In case you drop the bulb it will likely still work. The bulb will not generate UV and heat so you will avoid burns from touching the bulb. The bulb therefore will not melt your lighting fixture or discolor it. The bulb has a 45 degree spread (beam angle), 7000K color temperature (warm) and 440 Lumen light output. This bulb have 4 high powered individual Bridgelux LED pieces. The light bulb will unfortunately not work in all 12V power sources and you may have to replace the transformer/adaptor main unit if it has a problem with low load (it may work if you leave one halogen bulb to carry some load). The bulbs application is perfect for home, restaurants, shops, office, etc. Also available in color temperatures warm white 3200K. Note that the bulb is slightly taller than a standard Halogen bulb.

The Waypoint's deep-dish parabolic reflector produces a long range targeting beam with optimum peripheral illumination, and its optimized electronics provides regulated intensity. It's water resistant (IPX4 rating) and its high-impact polycarbonate housing has been tested for a 1-meter impact resistance. In addition to its handheld, pistol-grip trigger operation, the Waypoint has an integrated stand for hands-free scene lighting. Other features include an unbreakable polycarbonate lens, O-ring seal, and removable lanyard. It's a great choice for law enforcement, search and rescue, security, and recreational applications.

Streamlight's C4 LED Technology

Basic LEDs provide a number of significant advantages, including significantly longer run time, an almost infinite life, and amazing durability since there is no glass or filament. A downside to basic LED bulbs is that they're not especially bright, but Streamlight has tackled that problem with its C4 LED technology.

Producing a brighter, more powerful, blinding light than any LED that's come before, the Streamlight-engineered reflector with C4 Photonic Crystal technology almost triples the brightness and creates an intense beam that pierces the darkness. With C4 LED technology, your Streamlight flashlight will approximate the range and brightness of a xenon bulb. You'll also enjoy the long-run times and indestructibility of an LED with an increased level of brightness that leaves basic LEDs in the dark.

Warranty

This flashlight is warranted to be free of defect for a lifetime of use. Streamlight will repair, replace or refund the purchase price, at its option, of any Streamlight product that does not work or that you manage to break for as long as you own it.
